EAgle Scout project - flag retirement service

This box is for American Flags Only Please.

My fellow Boy Scouts from our local Boy Scout Troop 457, will come by at the end of April, May, and June to collect your flag from the box and retire them at our Troop summer camp late June.

14 June is Flag Day

I am an Eagle Scout candidate from Troop 457 in Greenwood Village Colorado. This is my Eagle Scout service project and I need your support to help me "Renew Glory".

What is Renew Glory?

Renew Glory is a managed American flag retirement service that provides people of the community the ability to retire worn out American Flags between
15 April and 14 June 2017 with honor and dignity.

I have a quality, wooden box placed in the
Koelbel Library Community Corner allowing you to easily deposit your worn out American flags. The box was crafted and donated by my "Uncle" John who was a Life Scout from Troop 185 in Caribou, Maine.

What makes this concept different is this is a troop managed service using social media to inform community members about flag retirements.
